The Badalian family purchased this 26-room motel across the street from Disneyland and built what is known today as the Camelot Inn & Suites. Just steps from the magic kingdom, this charming inn is a haven for families who have come for generations to enjoy a true Disneyland experience. Camelot has always performed very well in occupancy and ADR. But recognizing new hotels on the horizon, they capitalized on the upswing and reinvested in the brand to help differentiate themselves in the market. Our adventure began by creating a strong brand that captures the heart of all guests.
We started by creating a storybook-inspired logo. Showcasing the property’s iconic spire, the new logo represents something enchanting, narrative and whimsical – ultimately helping rediscover the charming inn’s true story.
Armed with new brand guidelines, Company B helped ownership rediscover the new Camelot Inn & Suites. Through the art of using fanciful words, messages, visuals and adventurous graphics, we established true differentiation in the market that will capture the attention and imagination of future guests.
Finding the true essence of the property also included bringing playfulness back into the Camelot’s guest touch points. Company B produced clever Do Not Disturb signs, new design for in-room bath products and even a hand-drawn illustration for their key cards.
