Located in a turn-of-the-century building that today is The Iron Horse Hotel, Smyth pays homage to the blacksmith. The art of hand craftsmanship is told through the space itself and a menu of farm-fresh ingredients from Wisconsin and the Midwest.
Being located in a world-renowned hotel, management and Company B realized Smyth was going to need a powerful story to stand out.
Turns out that a restaurant with its own farm is a good place to start. Traveling to the farm with the chef we immediately realized it would have to be the star of the new brand launch. Captivating photography and key messaging was centered around the farm on the new website and social media channels.
In combination with targeted media pitches, our new platforms allowed us to cut through the noise. Less than a month after launch, Smyth was named one of “8 of the Most Delicious Farm-to-Table Hotels in the World” by Yahoo Travel and on the annual “Top 30″ Restaurants in Milwaukee by food critic Carol Deptolla of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
