Established shortly after Walt Disney threw open the gates to Disneyland in California, Tropicana Inn & Suites has attracted generations of families to its classic motor-lodge style hotel. Located steps away from the magic kingdom, Tropicana has been family run since 195X. While this celebrated Anaheim property enjoys an incredibly high occupancy throughout the year, ownership decided it was time to refresh its brand in preparation for an upcoming multi-million dollar renovation.
Paying homage to its rich history, Company B created a new Tropicana logo inspired by So Cal vintage design. The custom typeface captures the property’s playful personality, while a vibrant color palette signals its friendly staff, welcoming service and exciting location.
With a refreshed brand capturing the nostalgia and colorful nature of the property, we designed stunning yet functional sales collateral to help create a cohesive representation of the new Tropicana branding.
After crafting these distinct new brand standards, we brought some playful energy into the hotel’s guest touch points including clever Do Not Disturb signs, distinct key cards and fresh new design for their in-room bath products.
